Career resources · Interview prep
Walk in prepared.
Interviews reward preparation more than personality. Here's the preparation our consultants coach candidates through — stage by stage.
The candidates who do best in interviews are rarely the most confident — they're the most prepared. They know the company, they know their own evidence, and they've rehearsed the shape of a good answer without sounding rehearsed. That is learnable, and this guide covers it.
The programme
Four stages, one method.
Before
Research the company beyond its homepage: recent news, its competitors, what its customers complain about. Re-read the job description and write one story from your own experience for each requirement. Prepare your questions — interviews are two-way, and 'do you have any questions for us?' is itself a question about how you think.
The answer format
The strongest interview answers follow a simple arc: the situation, what you specifically did, and what happened as a result. Keep each story to ninety seconds. If the interviewer wants more, they'll ask — and a follow-up question is a sign of interest, not a trap.
On the day
Arrive early in every sense — log in or show up ten minutes ahead, have water nearby, and know your own CV well enough to talk about any line on it. Pause before answering difficult questions; a considered pause reads as judgement, not hesitation.
After
Send a short, specific follow-up within a day: thank the interviewer, name one thing from the conversation you found interesting, and reaffirm your interest. Then let your consultant handle the chasing — that's what we're here for.
