BOVAS Talent is a global recruitment and talent acquisition consultancy. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, we act as a data controller for the personal information we collect about candidates, clients and website visitors.

When you apply for a role, submit your CV or speak with a consultant, we collect the information you provide: your name, contact details, employment history, education, right-to-work information, and any notes from our conversations with you.

We also collect technical information when you use this website — such as IP address, browser type and pages visited — to keep the site secure and to understand how it is used.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to match you with suitable opportunities, to represent you to prospective employers (only with your consent), to communicate with you about roles and services, and to meet legal obligations such as right-to-work checks.

We never sell personal data, and we share it only with prospective employers in connection with a specific opportunity, with service providers who support our operations under contract, or where the law requires it.

4. Legal bases

Depending on the context, we rely on: your consent (for example, when you submit your CV or agree to marketing updates); our legitimate interests in operating a recruitment business; the performance of a contract; and compliance with legal obligations.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.

5. Retention

We keep candidate information only as long as it serves an active or reasonably anticipated purpose — typically up to three years from our last meaningful contact, unless you ask us sooner or a legal requirement sets a different period.

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased in certain circumstances, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive a portable copy of data you gave us.
