About this role
You will oversee the technical operation and maintenance of vessel machinery systems, keeping ships safe, compliant and available.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and supervise maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary systems
- Ensure compliance with class, flag and environmental rules
- Diagnose faults and manage spare parts and repairs
- Support crews with technical guidance and drills
What we're looking for
- ✓Marine engineering degree or COC qualification
- ✓3+ years sea-going or technical fleet experience
- ✓Knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL and class survey regimes
- ✓Problem-solver who stays composed at sea or ashore
