You will assess residential mortgage applications against policy, lending sense and regulation — sound decisions, documented clearly.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite applications within mandate, escalating exceptions
- Verify income, credit, valuation and affordability evidence
- Meet service-level and quality standards consistently
- Feed back patterns into policy and process improvements
What we're looking for
- ✓2+ years mortgage underwriting experience
- ✓Working knowledge of responsible lending regulation
- ✓CeMAP or equivalent is advantageous
- ✓Precise, defensible case notes
